It looks the same...and nothing like an import or "skyline". Nothing like ricer comments about a mustang.

And FWIW, I think the sloping front end makes it look like it's got downs syndrome.

I feel people calling a WRX a REX is worse. And even worse when they write it out. But yeah I don't like the stang thing either.

It is nice to see ford putting some balls into their products. I am not a big mustang fan (except the classics). The few I have driven weren't that fast and handled like a ford taurus.... that is to say big, heavy, and lots of body roll. It seems like often when you buy a mustang the most impressive thing you get is the emblem. It often seems to be a car that doesn't live up to its name, or price tag.

Before I get flamed for this, note I am saying MANY, not ALL mustangs. I know there are some that are still quick.

I think the 3rd gen mustangs are some of the worst looking cars on the road. They are horrible, down right offensive. The engineer who designed them should be fired, beaten and shot for making such an icon so ugly. Furthermore it often seems like the third gens are driven by some of the biggest assholes as well.

Anyhow, the current gen is a nice looking car. I don't know much about their performance. It will be nice to have a car that performs as good as it looks.
 
don't buy a 2010 mustang if you don't need a new car right away and can wait another year. the 5.0L V8 will return for 2011. and who knows if/when they're gonna put that sick ecoboost V6 in the mustang.

big improvements coming up!
 
'05 Mustang generation has ridiculous understeer, so enjoy that. Complete opposite of my T/A that had the world's most incredible oversteer.

low offset wheels look good on a mustang.

i def get an import vibe off this new design. and to those, i wasnt saying it looks like a skyline like that. i was saying, it puts me in mind of the skyline from certain angles with the way its sitting. but its def gives me a jdm vibe. Ford is coming back

but i cant wait to get one. going to be badass once im done. upgraded supension, sick offset, big single turbo.

MS3 is getting traded once the 5.0's come

this isnt an 05. its a 2010 and it pulls .96 on the skidpad

13.4-13.5 in the 1/4 @104.

but its still not on par with the 370z which motor trend achieved. 13.3 at 107 and .99 skid pad. and car and driver achieved 13.1 at 108 in the 1/4. that VQ37 is beasting.

but for a mustang. im impressed
MT achieved 13.4-13.5 in the 1/4 @104 and a .96 on the skidpad in the 2010 Mustang GT

Yeah the .96 on the pad is not bad at all for a solid rear axle
