So I was supposed to go in early yesterday, but they had some sort of base wide drill preventing people from coming on or going off base. I get the phone to come in at normal time instead of early. Well, great. Now what to do?

I spent the morning yesterday cleaning the crap out of the car... Inside and out. Today I am going to get the engine bay steam cleaned to get rid of all that dirt, salt, and crap that accumulated over the winter.
As I was going out to the car this morning to get some stuff for work, I saw that VRM just sparkle in the sunlight and it made me remember why I bought it. I love my car.

I didn't defeat the purpose. I figured with the amount of cars coming it would be better to lend a hand to those in need.
I think the steam clean is going to cost around 30-40 bucks. I specifically asked them to make sure it's not a pressure washer. They said it's a steam clean because if they used a pressure washer it would screw with electrical stuff.
They also degrease it, steam clean it, and air dry the engine bay with compressed air.

Exactly what I do.
If at the end I have time I'll wash my car down if it's dirty, but I don't think that will be the case since I already have gone through a 3 stage polishing process.Exactly what I do.

I even went so far as to use the Back to Black stuff on my exterior trim.
