What have you done to your P5 today?

Haha, no, just cynical. Forums in general have been pissing me off lately.

No offense intended. I'm just curious what your intention is.

well, offense taken.

And, not everyone is sub'd to every thread like you and I are.

And reason for doing the same thing "over there" most the guys there are banned from here

Haha, well I'm not going to get into that and you can just go along being offended then...

If I ever finish doing the laundry today I want to go out and re-adjust my Catz foglights. I'll probably be adding another washer as a spacer and then dremeling out the support a little as well.

So I'm debating about removing my side mouldings today or tomorrow, but I'm worried about the condition of the paint underneath. My P5 is among the first run sold in the US (made Dec. '01) so I'm afraid the paint underneath the moulding is going to look quite a bit different than the surrounding paint. It is going off to a full, professional, and very expensive detail next week so I'm wondering if everything will look find after they're done.

make sure you have more of the trim tape from the autoparts store

After removing the smallest section, see what it looks like

If it's faded, throw some new tape on it and slap it back on the car

If not, continue! lol

Yeah, I'll probably do this. If it has faded a little, would polishing, etc help that at all? Like I said, I'm going in for a full detail next weekend and if it's something they could fix I'd consider proceeding even with a little fading.

MP3 and Pro5 and MSP all share the same front bumper, so, they all work
Do you happen to have the P/N for em? I know someone else was lookin for that part number before cause they couldn't find em at the dealership

In a sense. The MSP bumper does not have the bumper markers. ;)

Drove to Bridgewater NJ with the fam this afternoon and met up with Black Cherry, then we went in grabbed lunch and shopped for a few hours.

Magnum...when I first got the miata it was faded and the clear coat was chipping right off.
While the car was over @ Kevin we tried some wax n elbow grease. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Ct...Black Cherry sounds like a porn star name. Lol.

Installed the new high output alternator. What a pain in the arse. It's a tight fit down there and Ohio road conditions made getting the old alt off the pivot post a serious annoyance. Can't see the alt itself but here is how the new streetwires fuse block is mounted.
