AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Yes its all the way to the left, so I was also assuming rich. So how bad is running that rich? BOOM?

Well, I'm glad that we've settled this one :D

The stock MSP behaves exactly like this, so it's not a big deal aside from less MPG and power.

OK, well Im stll going to try and adjust the map this weekend. And I couldnt imagine, the car will have more power? Dang! Im pretty happy with where the car is power wise. Thats great!

Well, if the afr was in the 11s before and now it's below 10 without any changes made to anything by you then you should try to identify the reason for this before you start changing the map.

The most common reasons are vacuum/boost leaks in the lines or an exhaust leak around the primary O2 sensor. Make sure that all of your vac/pres lines are clamped. I made a cut in the ECU harness grommet below the charcoal canister that sits on the pass side firewall and ran a short vacuum line T-ed into the line going to the boost sensor to the AFC.

here is the R4 software, not sure if it will work, but you have to unzip it first.. let me know if it doesn't run.

No problem, after learning so much myself with the help of the forums its nice to be able to give something back lol

LOL... that's not the installation file... it's just the *.exe
it will only run the program if you already have it installed... the actual R4 software is to large to attach here on the forums... you will need to email it and your email account must allow atleast 24MB attachments because the actuall R4 installation file is approximatly 24.7MB zipped

as far as AFR go
rich = safe
lean = boom

for the AEM wideband
it sweeps left to right... green to amber to red...
not sure which one you have Custom but mine taps out at 10 and 18

thats how I have mine ran as well. Ill go back over all my vac hoses and see what the deal is. thanks again for clearing this up

This reminds me that I need to go in an completely redo my vacuum lines. I already have silicone lines but they've been cut and hacked so much for different setups that I'm sure I've got some leaks somewhere. Just waiting for 505zoom's intake manifold to come out then the fun begins.

More AFC-related: I still need to retune mine. It seems to be pretty good above 6 psi (between 11.5:1 and 12:1) but around 5 psi it's a little lean and below that it's rich. I need to get everything back around 11.5:1 but with the winter weather I'm afraid to go out and do some road tuning.

^^ bah its not that bad.. well depends on where you are i guess.. at leats around here its not that bad as far as weather just cold out.. just make a copy of the map and tune from there.. but if you have snow and stuff then ya.. thats a diff. story.. small express ways or onramps for highways usually work pretty well lol

How long did the ECU take to reprogram itself for your 440cc injectors, guys?

I installed mine today and took them out an hour later. The off boost driveability is basically non existant.
