I passed VA's emissions test this am with a TBE w/cat. I was a little worried in all honesty. I sold my last turbo car because it wouldn't pass emissions. Plates for two more years! Hooray!

in PA an obd2 car can pass with no cats as long as you have no CEL. because it doesnt go through a visual just hook it up to the obd2 scan port

In Jersey, the Motor Vehicle Nazi's still use the old fashion "mirror on a stick" to make sure there's a cat under there even with OBD2. I think I'm going to spray paint a smiley face on mine with high temp paint for my next inspection or maybe an "F-You". I can't decide. Of course I'd have to write it backwards for it to make sense.
