I bought one for my SVT Focus a few weeks before I sold it. I still have it, but now I have no use for it. I was wondering if I could eventually just use it as a scan tool or something in the MS3, or if it's not safe/compatible.

It's a hand-held tuner/scanner that plugs into the OBD2 port. I got it because I got a mail-in tune for the SVTF, and it came on the predator...I had to plug the predator into the car and upload the tune to the ECU. It also measures things like a Dash-Hawk does, but it's far less convenient (it's huge). I could use it to perform diagnostics in the future, but I don't know if it's 100% compatible.

you could end up bricking your ecu using that on the ms3. Iam not sure how it works but its a risk you would be taking.

Just call the manufacturer and see if its OK...

its basically just like a cobb AP. only much more reasonable priced, and much more easy to find a place to tune it !! unfortunately they do not serve our market. you should shoot them an email or something, and suggest they look into the MS3 !

Wasnt superchips looking into doing something for the ms3 a while ago? I havent heard anything recently

Call the manufacturer as was said. I'd think it should work as a scanner as long as that's a selectable option ("scan only") from the unit.
