LOL!

It's up to Rich but I'm ready to go if he needs help with this.

I haven't read every post but how many people are actually going to buy this intake manifold?

13.
14.
15.

None of you better be backing out now!

and that is just the definite list..

there are a lot of others on the interested list that are waiting for results before they switch to the def list.. like easily over 20 units will be bought i would say

Then cut that number in half for flakers..Because we all Know there will be that many.
SO looks like you would be at 10 then..+ new additions.

Yeah, I'm expecting maybe 15 out of the 30 total from both lists.

I have been shopping around for some help with the actual production, simply because I don't want to leave you guys hanging for a long time after dropping down your deposits. I have sent messages to a few different places asking for bids on the individual components, so I will just kick back and see what happens. This way things won't take forever to get done, and everyone will be happy. I would still like to keep this project local as much as possible, but if steed or any of the other places I contacted can help cut down on production time (without making us go over budget), we'll go that route.

Kelly will be working on fixing the prototype starting on Monday, and that will hopefully go quickly so we can start the road testing. As soon as I have it in my hands it's going on the car, and we'll get the final details going for production right away.

So that's the deal for now, I will update more on Tuesday. Have a happy 4th weekend everyone!

yes! And if this product, if it does get made, should make some impressive power increases.

One question Don't know if its been asked, but will this mod throw a CEL...?

Could u show us a pic of what u mean? Please? (kiss)

I don't have any pics actually showing how the holes got put too close. I will try to explain a little more though.

One side of each runner slides into the notch in the flange shown above, and is then welded. We then use the mill to cut out a hole for the injector, and it needs to go through the flange at a slight angle and punch through in the middle of the "dish" on the other side (shown below):

We had the runners welded onto the flange, and the calculations were off just a hair. The holes got placed right up against the runner instead of just outside of the weld, so the hole cut through the weld and shaved a tiny bit off of the runner pipe.

Easy mistake to make, and not hard to correct. It was just costly because of the timing of it.

So a question.....
SO it went slightly into the runner...what is the harm there...sounds like goo dplacment to me....Hell button that one up and send the damn thing to me....Waste is haste.

Well, I'm waiting for the results before I switch my name to the definate list. S.A.MSP will not be getting one he is parting his car out, I just got his Thunder manifold.

haha. With the holes cutting through the welds, the manifold would leak. The welds can't be redone afterward because that would make the injector not fit into the hole properly.

Yes there has been some progress this week. I have not seen it yet, but Kelly tells me that the injector holes went perfectly this time. Wes is welding everything up today or tomorrow, and then we can get the exact height set for the fuel rail mounts. Hoping to finally install it this weekend or early next week.

I will post up some pics of the completed piece as soon as it is in my hands, and if any other delays pop up I will let you guys know.

I'm sure the top end will greatly out perform the stock manifold. Also, it will look amazing under the hood. (cool)
