Got bored so....

note to self, install short shifter soon.... Going on 3 months of it sitting in my room

anyway, boots look good!

jbiird:

you're car is too clean.

it pisses me off everytime i see a post from you!
(bang)
;)

your shift boot looks stock...? What did you do to it exactly...? (huh)

Its actually a boot thats made for a Honda Civic, I measured it and trimmed it up and I used another one for the parking brake, It just look a little more shaping and altering and a little stitching for the brake boot. AND YES... I will lay off the armor all LOL.

The only oily product I considered using on the interior of the car is leather cleaner/conditioner. Problem is it's only on the seat trim and not the seating surface. Thus, when you apply it it will stain the nearby cloth- as you see in the pics. :(

I got bored so I fabricated this short shift boot and handbrake boot.

what is this control panel on right to the shifter??I gues its in gt version only??

Meguiars makes great interior products. I use the quick interior detailer and their cream leather treatment. Nether of those leaves any wet or oily look at all. It only looks like clean dry plastic and conditioned leather but not greasy. It has not stained my fabric on the seats but I do take care to not get sloppy with it.

Roll down your window a few miles and every damn peace of dust will stick to your dash and then it will look fuzzy instead of greasy, lol.

This is why I do my own cleaning and not let the border brothers touch my car at any lazy mans car wash.
