what color would you paint the center bezel?

so i just installed my new cf globe box cover.... looks great! thanks goes to mazdaspeed777 for shipping it so quickly and so well protected(headbang)

but now i'm in a bind, i cant decide on whether to paint the gauge bezel and the radio bezel silver, gray, or semi gloss black.... i really like the CF on the stock radio piece but it doesn't match at all with the other cf parts at all :(. I'm not sure how it would look all in silver. black might looks nice but its kinda dull IMO.

maybe someone here has a different angle on it, maybe some cool contrast mix and match, or maybe a new color all together? plz?

PS. The golden compass sucked

I did all the prep work, and I had a local body shop paint it gloss black to match a lot of other pieces on the car. No fading at all. It is holding up really well.

Just paint the Outer Gloss black and leave the center alone.
It gets rid of the non matching Fake CF and leaves an OEM look..Which looks good to begin with.
There is an easy "Break" line to work with on these things..Even an amature could do it and make it look right for less than $15.

that's a great idea!!!! Thanks bro!

well, i removed all the silver/stock pieces and now need to find a bodyshop to paint them for me, i'm looking for a mirror smooth finish, something i'm not ready for...

I painted mine gloss black. I think it looks good with the CF

Very nice!I painted mine the same color to go along w/ my shift plate/cup holders but it didn't turn out quite as good as yours.I'll have to sand both next time.

Just do it yourself...What did you decide for your Color or combo.
I do paint as well...But you would have to send the tuff to me.
But I am sure it would still be cheaper than a body shop.

let me know a price, i'm painting the ones in the pic a similar color to the factory, with a lil more silver perhaps, and the fake CF a shiny, reflective black. all with a really smooth finish.

If theres nothing wrong with the silver pieces in the pic...you can do just the fake CF section for really cheap at home..I will guide you through it if you like and I can almost gaurantee you will like the results...and It will cost you less than $20.
LMK
PM me if you want to try it yourself.
Its really easy if you have patience.
