The options for the s-portion of the downpipe are very limited .. So you can always do what I did. I have the 2.5" Corksport s-pipe and 3" everything else. But if you don't have any big plans for your MSP, 2.5" will be sufficient for the entire system.
But noise levels will depend on the muffler you choose, how many cats you use (if any) and how many resonators you use (if any).
I have a single hi-flow cat and two resonators with an HKS muffler, and it's still loud. Not overbearingly or obnoxiously so -- but when I get on it, the world knows!
Well .. once you get on the highway, it's not too bad. I mean, it doesn't bother me -- if it did, I would've changed my muffler -- but you can't have a normal conversation with someone else in the car without raising your voice a little.I have a full 3inch TBE with highflow cat but not res. you have 2 and its
still loud dam I am about to install one from vibrant but if yours is loud
with 2 I guess its not worth it...How is it on the highway noise wise?

But you can always have some resonators cut into the Vibrant if you want, at an exhaust shop.
I didn't install my exhaust -- it was built as it was being put onto the car, since it's custom -- so I can't say for sure. That was the only time I've had the stock s-pipe taken off the car .. was to take it off for good.is there any way to install the S pipe with out removing the turbo? if not talk about a PITA.(smash)
I have two ANSA Silverline resonators .. http://www.ansaautomotive.com/Silverline/index.htmlok...I am going to go with the Ultra Quiet Resonator, 3" inlet/oulet hopefully
it will reduce some noise - Rush do you have bottle stlye res.?

Sounds like a plan. The exhaust and the intercooler are definitely two of the weakest stock components on the MSP.ok i think thats a great idea.....i have plans for the car but not yet.....for now i just want to upgrade the intercooler, exhaust system, flywheel, clutch...i think thats it for now.....so i will get the CS DP 3in. pipe and the apexiN1.....what you think???
