talked to split second about their afc with NA Tuning!!!!

^^^ Exactly. Use the cam gears to advance timing to a reasonable level and where it is/might be dangerous have the FTC pull it back. Like at say, peak torque RPM.
 
well, the ftc is like $570.00 and cam gears are like $360, so your better off just buying a haltech unit or the lt10 standalone.

yea cam gears would work though.
 
yea its two diferent things. But what's up with the cam sensor on the exhaust cam?

I got the ssafc and the 626im. Yup its the right ones from pg both brand new. Now I need to figure out how to put these suckers in. I gotta find a map.

Btw ken how much for the egr tube and associated gaskets to install the intake manifold. Thanks.

yea i wasent paying attention either, duh cam timming is not the same. lol

here, ill post the map up again. the installation on both things is not that hard, there is just alot of things to remember when diconnecting everything. but if you go slow and take pictures, it will be easy.

hmm I got a stupid question. Well the wire connections seem easy enough. I was wondering which/where is the vacum line I'm supposed to connect to the ssafc? Do I need a T connector to split the vacum line to whatever its already connected to?

here you go 808mp5, i got a picture. the manifold in the picture is the 626 manifold, but i think the old manifold is in the same place as well. it does not matter which vacuum line you use, but as long it is comming off of the intake manifold, you should be good.

i circled what vacuum line i used in green, you should not miss it, lol.

well im actually gonna be turbod next week, so my NA setup is longer on the car anymore.
 
Boooo on the turbo......oh well...every man reaches a point...where they say...wtf am i thinking with all N/A...

i actually am going to run a custom turbo kit. hiboost exhaust manifold, s and j pipe with a td04 turbo (wrx turbo). the turbo is smaller than the one that comes with the hiboost kit (sti turbo). custom fmic set up with msp ecu and type s bov. that plus all the previous upgrades i have on the car.


im going to have a NA sale next week, including a mp3 ecu, so stay tuned.
