Just got this game and played it a bit tonight. I used a code to unlock the Mazdaspeed3. This game is more realistic and harder than previous Need for Speed games, except Porsche Unleashed. The feeling of the game is like weekend track events out West somewhere, it's not like the city driving of the last several NFS games. Your vehicle takes damage and you can total it if you damage it enough. Graphics are great, sounds are good if you turn down the annoying announcer that has to comment on everything. The MS3 model is very accurate, almost photo-realistic. You can even see the stitching on the seats.

As far as I played the career mode I found it a little frustrating, the events (at least the early ones) have races and drag races, and you might make it through 3 races just fine with your one car and then be not able to win the drag race in your drag race car. At that point the only choice you have is to leave the event, upgrade your car (if you have the money), then do the whole event over again. At that point I said **** that and entered the cheat to unlock all the cars so I could see the MS3...
Cheat code to unlock all cars is UNLOCKEVERYTHING, you enter it on the career menu under Codes.
