is there a way to buy that rear drum-to disc conversion system?
Yup to buy mine one off custom set up. I currently know of nobody offering a a rear drum to disc conversion for the 3 gen Protege 4 lug.
I'm offering for sale everything need bolted up to the spindle ready to go. All that is required by buyer would be bolt up the struts, TTLs, Training Arms attach brake lines and bleed the emergency brake cable to it handle assembly.
FYI if you where to buy and since you'll be unbolting the TTL and trailing arms might as well buy my custom (AWR) adjustable upgraded setup at the same time and bot it all up for one hell of a rear suspension braking package. I also have the GT Spec rear link reinforcement panel and V brace http://corksport.com/store/category/4qc0/99p-suspension_misc.html along with AWR 22mm adjustable AWR sway bar with end links.
Hell for that matter also get my AWR custom valved (set up for autocross and track with 99 1.6 Pro Cross weights) Beilstein struts Eibach springs coil overs with front Ground Control camber caster plates and rear AWR camber plates making everything a spherical bearing pavement eating monster of a rear end.
I
I also have a set of AWR Cnc'd caliper brackets for drum to disc 4 lug conversion for sale but you'll have to obtain the calipers and rotors from AWR.
