i suspect your butt needs to be recalibrated. the only thing you will gain from running with a "tricked" ecu is fuel consumption.

*face palms* butt dyno is that it feels faster.. the car feels faster due to denser air when its colder....you cant trick that...

Think about it in the most simple way, bud. Turbos are hot...hot as HELL. Cold air will bring down engine bay temps, help with heat soak..etc. Ruining your ECU will not lower temperatures.

I have an FMIC and full size Mishimoto radiator and my fans hardly kick on. I can't wait to see how it is in the heat of summer. My car is also much faster when it's cold out the car runs 2-3 more lbs of boost, that's probably due to the wastegate.

I will recommend the new fan shroud they make for the radiator. I have two universal slim fans and although they barely kick on I did not enjoy pushing those plastic retainers through the brand new radiator fins to mount them. The Mishimoto is worth every penny of it's $255 price, especially considering it's cheaper than a new OEM MSP radiator.
