tapping sound?

I was just wondering if everyone else's engine has like that tapping noise. my mother had a 4 cyl hyudai awhile back and it sounded the same. i Know its pretty characteristic of 4cyls. But i notice mine more now i guess. Just wondering if everyone else here it at idle when standing in frfont of the car. (boom08)

mines does it to, and so did my p5, alot of 4 cyl do this.

on the msp it sounds like valves,but could be noisey injecters

Its normal for our cars. s*** its normal for solid lifters (if you want to call them lifters)

Anyway this was the main reason why i sold my msp and got a new one, i had it bad. WAAAY worse than normal, i closed the gap on the ships to well within fac spec, and it was just as bad.

Anyway do a search for my name, there is a vid i posted of how loud mine was, if your is that loud, then your screwed.

Wierd that this thread should come up, as my ticking has gotten louder recently. I think its just because i need an oil change though. Its noting as loud as yours was though.
