Spark Plugs

Okay so my car when I turn it on and I leave shortly, with the motor still cold, drives super fast. When it's warmed up however, it doesn't seem to be as fast. When it's warmed up and I stomp on it, it will *sput* *sput* *sput* (and rough sputs), and then jumps into it fine. I was told to replace spark plugs and I'll be getting an oil change right after too.

I used to know where the plug info was in this forum but I can't seem to find it. So I just bought some new plugs and I wanted to make sure they were right before I put them in. I got Autolite platinums, and I was told NOT to gap these. What should my gap be and how can I change it if it's not right (I've never changed gaps before)?

I wouldnt use those...no point.

Best plugs for the MSP are NGKs. NGK ZFR6F-11 to be exact. Gapped to around 0.030-0.032

Okay thanks, I kinda had a weird feeling about it when the autozone guy brought them out because all my mazda friends have always said NGK in reference to what they use.

For the record from my experience: Autozone employees don't know s*** about these cars. And this coming from someone who seriously knows nothing about these cars!

My car does the same thing when it's super cold out and i drive like that. It seems like the car is On nitrous or something lol. But anywho yeah what ^^EvilmonkeyMSP^^ Said

my car did the same thing but I put ngk iridiums and went to a thicker weight of oil runs way better
