Shift knob problem

I try to take off my shift knob one day and it won't twist off and I'm turning counter clockwise...it's stuck or something or it has mis threaded......I don't know. I have a kartboy shifter with a kart boy knob and I just don't know.....
Does anybody have this problem before???

did you over tighen it? is the kartboy knob a single piece and machine threaded, or is there a plastic insert inside the knob?

i had this problem getting my stock p5 knob off... hadnt taken it off in awhile... just need some real strength

not sure how small they get but try using a oil filter remover, the one that has the rubber strap
