post pics of aftermarket swaybars installed

sick of clunk bs and i missed the clunk fix GB. I need a solution. I have done some research, but I cant seem to find any installed pics of either the progress or AWR (my two front running choices). help a brother out?

Anyone with any experience with the AWR one? the 21.5mm?

what about the progress one?

other suggestions?

IIRC both the progress and AWR bar can still clunk if you use the adjustable endlinks that are needed. also i think there are still a few of the clunk fix kits leftover from the GB

New bushings and marine grease are what are needed. I haven't had the clunk in almost a year except a couple separate occasions when it was really cold the rear sway squeaked a little.

i put in brand new bushings and used Energy Suspension grease which is similarily glue-like and thick.

I don't get clunk, but rather a squeal. and it came back after like a week. usually it lasts at least 6 months. maybe its the sand and salt on the road this time of year.


still would like to see picks of the AWR swaybar installed.

Im dissapointed to hear that you could still get the clunk with that awr bar. can anyone confirm this?

I have the 21.5 bar and yes you can still have the clunk, but I modified the bar by cutting off 6" off each end and modified some energy suspension brackets and bushings. Never had a problem since then.

I did the same thing. the awr bar kept hitting the lateral link so I cut it like you did. lol
heres a pic of where it would hit going over bumps. (not my car) I now have the msp rear bar with modded energy suspension brackets and bushings as well.
