Need help with installing FPR

Look into just removing the vac line and bypassing the FPS and just using the stock FPR. Apparently without the FPS it is a 1:1 rising rate FPR.

What Specifically are you trying to do..

IMO all you will do is Eff Up your car unless you have some sort of EMS

Ehhh. Haters goin' hate. I'm using a split second, 255lph, 850cc injectors, and fpr gonna try and tune for e85 from someone who has tuned dozens of different makes and models of cars on corn all of which run extremely well and none of which have blown up or had issues.

It's absolutely necessary to run this? You need more pressure because the stock FPR is good, look into it before you ditch it. I suggest you talk to MaxxMazda.

You shouldn't need a fpr for that, unless you just want a sweet aftermarket thing on your rail to make it look cool. And good luck doin that with a split second piggyback. Sounds like a headache.

to be honest i am not completely sure how it is gonna work. the guy helping me with it has done it dozens of times with various cars and i trust him. if it doesnt work i will just go back to normal gas so no big deal

i know from your unsubscribed message on my thread about an adjustable fpr you dont seem to be a big fan of running e85 for some reason? i usually wouldnt care what people on the internet think about my plans, but you obviously know what your doing. any input?

E85 isn't commercially available here so that has limited my interest in running it.. Plus I am used to getting 600 Km on a tank of gas...

You are, IMO approaching the E85 problem incorrectly.. The solution is not to just increase the pressure, but increase the volume of fuel being delivered by the injectors.

The methodical process of calculating what the Duty Cycle on regular gas and current injectors... then reasses the difference in volume required... select the appropriate injectors and re-tune..

Adding pressure add stress on the pump and it will fail faster. (And Leave You ****** at the side of the road)

I run 55 PSI constant (No Rising Rate) it makes it so I can easily tune the fuel map linearly because the FPR isn't progressively adding pressure. (One Less Variable)

This is the correct way to go about this...If you have the ability to run two maps, you could tune for E85 and 94,93,91 Octane gas if availability was an issue..

Let me know if that makes sense I would like to discuss it with you more, just that your thread pissed me a bit because it was going the wrong way IMO..

great info thanks brian. i didnt put it up top but i will also be running 850cc injectors and a walbro 255lph. gonna try the stock fpr first. e85 is really easy to get here so not too worried about that
