i spoke with mazda usa and they called your dealership up and the regional director basically denied warranty coverage because of a couple of things
bald front tires
cracked boost lines
and other modifications
i came up with excuses for all of that and told them in no way were those aftermarket products connected to the failure of the lsd. what he told me was that once the regional director makes the call mazda will stand behind it. so yeah your warranty is out of the question. get on aim and ill see if i can find you an lsd and hopefully we can still make this deal happen.
i quoted you a price on a new one. the dealer will charge you much more. 9 times out of 10 anyone that has one lying around means it is broken apart. your chances of getting a used LSD from this car are slim to none. few if any junkyards will break open a trans just to pull a diff for you. i am not trying to sound harsh, just giving you reality of the situation.
well... just so happens i have a perfectly fine one lying around. it is welded and has the bearings and speed gear attached, so its ready to install. you know the deal... im working on the price
