European look all the way...

I must say that looks sleek like that. Minus the stickers of course.

Yeah I'm totally against putting stickers on my car. The only reason I did is because they are Mazda stock/factory and are on the original Sport 20 so...

get the Mazdaspeed shifters, I dont know where i saw them but they were $50 and they were sweet! But if you want to get the best go MOMO!

2002 stock shifter

My 2002 stock shifter looks like crap now.. the cleacoat on the aluminum was starting to chip since the day i drove it home.. since then all of it has chipped off and im left with the faded shift patern looking all ugly...

I want a momo carbon air shift knob... yeah.. those are niicceee...

you know, i still havent ever seen the stock 2002 knob, like a close up picture. anyone got one?

Im in the market for a new knob too... the way i hold the shifter doesnt suite the leather one on the 2003s i have, so looking for a ball one... either kartboy, voodoo, or even the 2002 if someone could post a pic/ opinion of it.

I'm getting a Mazdaspeed Knob they look cool as hell

Yeah, I got the leather Mazdaspeed Knob from corksport. It's got good weight and a great feel, plus it's not like all these crappy aftermarket knobs that have set screws and come loose all the time. However, the Kartboy knob looks like an excellent product, because it is threaded and uses no set screws.

I know a decision is already made, but this might be useful info for anyone doing a search in the future...

I've gotta say, that the T-handle shift knobs are very comfortable. I have a Hurst T-handle in my CRX, and it just feels right when I'm shifting, and it's easy to grab. The only drawback to the one I have, is that it is solid aluminum, soo it gets super cold during the winter, and it can get hot during the summer (in the sun). I know B&M also sell a T-handle, if you don't care for having an otherwise American Muscle Car product.

The hurst shift knob is threaded, and comes with an assortment of different threads to fit your shifter...no set screw needed, and no lock-tite needed. All for a price of about $25.00
