HKS Power Beam headlight bulbs are direct replacement units for your factory headlight bulbs. HKS Hi-Power bulbs emit a bright white beam for an HID look. H3, H7 bulb applications. All Power Beam bulbs are DOT approved with a rating of 3750K.

So I am gonna assume you think this is a significant improvement over the stock bulbs? :D Glad to hear there is an alternative to the Silverstars.

ouch! $95 for a pair of bulbs???

No way! I'm happy with my Sylvanias Cool Blue, which they're actually super white!

HKS lights SUCKS DO NOT BUY.. Faulty parts if you get a faulty part you out of luck. bad bad bad. do not buy anything from them you will loss out. (direct) (protest) (ripped) (monkey)

I tink you are being a little far fetched in your statement that HKS sells faulty products and that people should not buy from them. If you read any thread regarding aftermarket bulbs you would know a couple of things about them:
1. They normally do not last that long.
2. They are not any brighter nor do they put out any more light than a standard H7 bulb from the factory.
3. Most of the time, they are higher wattage output bulbs listed as direct replacement. IF they are a higher wattage, then you have a chance of burnign out the bulb faster or doing damage to the harness or worse.

It seems that when you buy a product and have a problem with it (Sparkco, HKS) you automatically think the company is bad. Hey, sometime there are bad bulbs or a problem in fabrication and usually the problem get resolved. If there is no warranty on the product, then it was a chance you took in purchasing that product. I am sorry you are out the $90+ for the bulbs, but you can always go back to the stock look for alot cheaper. Or you can just spend the $450 or so and go real HID.

One thing is this.
Customer service
If customer service sucks, Guess what Mike the company sucks.
Sales for a company are easy. But what brings back people to buy more from there companies.
Customer service.
The phone calls that were made prier to this post, this was the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I was told " there grey market bulbs and are not covered under faulty warranty because theyre in USA.
What do you get out of that?
Well if it was Japan or some ware in Europe they would be cover ,yes.
So why when I bought them I was told they were under a warranty.
Lesson learned . They said it themselves buyer be ware.
If something breaks because it is faulty. Tuff .
Now if they said " hey I understand you spent close 100 buck, we can not send you a new set but this is what I will do, I will give you free shipping, or give you 10% off of the set you buy, that would of been fine.
Sparko when I email then I did not get a response . It a timely matter until, I posted and raised a stink.
Then things were taking care of.
And yes there is more, light out put with better bulbs. And no I have never had any issues with PIAA. 3 years in my Cav never had issues except 3 weeks after I put them in , and you know what they did replaced it.
Now did they have to no. It called good Customer Service.
That is the key here.
Regardless you spent 5 dollars of 5000 dollars customer service after the sales is the most important thing for company growth..
I had problems with other companies, but they all ways had great customer service, do those companies suck no, but the product they sold did and they took care of it..

Yup, when you consider buying stuff, you have to think about customer services
Where I got my HID kit (from Liteswap), they have 120% customer services.
always willing to help with fast email reply to any questions.
:) I'm 200% satisfied with thier services.
