Hardpipes $275

Okay guys heres the deal. I'm having a new set of hard pipes made for my MSP. They will bolt right up to the motor, just like a standard set of the plastic OEM pipes will. The kit will INCLUDE a CAI type intake. I'm planning on having these made next week and if all goes well and they fit on the car like I plan, I'll probably be selling them for $275 dollars top.

They will NOT be stainless steel, only almuninized steel and will be polished. I don't feel like spending 3x the price on stainless steel when the other will work just as well and be corrosion resistant. If I get enough orders for them and people want them powder coated, I can get that done but look at another 30 dollars on top.

Again, this will INCLUDE a CAI. Post some feed back so I know if I should continue with this project or not. Either way, I'm getting new ones for my car, but thought maybe other people would be interested.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the pipes WILL contain a flex section, just like OEM.

Just so you know, I will become a vendor on this site and won't **** anybody over like somebody we know with a axle back.

I *MAY* be interested. It depends on how much my turntables end up selling for on ebay. :D

Oh, and what about the BOV/BPV option? For the price, I'm assuming we'll be using the stock BPV, but how will it mount?

dood i am instread i just got tranfered jobs and now i can affort to mod my car like i want.

275 for hard pipes and a CAI.. im interested, but i need to get my car looked at buy a guy locally, whose probably going to do the same thing for me soon, as well as exhaust.

Keep us posted, and we want pics. I dont really need a dyno....

Keep me posted as well. What will the flex section be made out of? And I assume you will be using silicone couplings, right?

Personally I would prefer just alumnized or powder coated, polished is too flashy for my taste. I'm not dead set on this subject.

Show me some pics, and make this a direct fit without any cutting or drilling.

If you can do this, you have a sale.

I've really been thinking about this and I think I'm gonna have it made so you can use an aftermarket BOV. The kit is going to be made so NO cutting or drilling of any can has to be done. I'd like to utilize the stock BOV, but the idea of going from rubber to metal on the BOV doesnt suit me.

if you dont like the polished, then you can have it powdercoated later, or just spray paint it yourself... Alot of places sell paint that will stand up to engine bay temps...

BOV: Yes, put on a flange, id be interested in an HKS flange if i ever get the scrilla for a SSQV... damn.. those are sweet.

What I'm going to do is just leave a space where the flange can be put on, that way people can add whatever BOV they want and they can just have like a muffler place weld it on. Won't be a big deal. The actual FLEX part of the pipes are gonna be Stainless steel.

awwww.. I want to use the stock bov... its so, already on there... it works fine.. its not like the rubber hose will expand or in any way effect your performance...

oh, and if I get them, can I get flat black?

Its getting made next week, but I'll post some pics. I might have to figure out a way to keep the stock BOV on there. Yeah, you can get it without a CAI.
