Creaky suspension in cold weather

Just wondering if this is normal or if I should have things checked out. 2007 Mazda5 GT with about 80,000 k's, just had the struts replaced in the summer.

With the cold snap we're experiencing here in Vancouver, I'm hearing some creaking from the suspension... doesn't seem like this should be happening, but with new struts would this be from worn bushings or something else??

My car's suffering from the exact same thing. No worries... My struts are a bit overdue for new struts/shocks though.

Have you lubricated the sway bar bushings? Rubber become stiffer with cold, so that's what I suggest. I remedied a front end squeak with some lithium grease during my last oil change.

After a bit more research I've seen similar complaints remedied by doing just that. I'm also do for an oil change so I guess I do it all at the same time . Thanks!
