Hey guys, my coolent has been runnin low and I checked underneath the car and all of the hoses and no leak, whats up??
I'm stumped

is the overflow on low ? when the car is cool, take off the radiator cap, and check the fluid there, should be right up to the top....

Depends on dealership. Some will let you take the car while the part is shipped in, others will keep it. Then you're at the mercy of whoever works/ships the parts at Mazda...

just for reference, where IS that leak at? i should probably check my coolant level, havent checked it in a while.

Ok, found the leak it is the same spot everyone else has had, how long would it take mazda too fix this.

Brennan,

Just go to Canadian Tire and get some small Worm Gear Clamps.

And replace the OEM crap. Your leak is on the hose going into the turbo right?

I replaced all those crappy squeeze clamps in that area. I am going to replace them all once the new rad goes in!

well I brought it into mazda, they took it right away and was done in 20 minutes, And absolutely no coolent problems now, I drove 700 kms in 2 days and coolent is still exactly where it should be.

well, i saw a hose with green crud so i guess i can confirm about a coolant leak, my level is still very high (thanks to the dealer filling it at the last oil change, there wasnt crud back then) but i guess i should have this taken care of soon.
