Bov Problems

Hey guys i just installed a Hotpipe and Greddy Type-S BOV on my 3.5 msp. The cars boosting and performing perfect but the bov is so so so quiet i can barely hear it out of 1st and 2nd gear. Why is it so quiet? Any help is much appreciated.

the setting might be too hard...you can tune it yourself if you have those hex keys...dont set it too soft though, you could stall.....you just venting or are you dual setup wit bov/bpv?

It's on the softest setting, i cant put it any softer....I'm just running the bov i took the bpv off. So u have a greddy type-s on ure cold side? Hows it working? Is it loud?

oooh..so youre just venting? I'm sure youre stalling, right?
anyway, i dont think its good to put it all the way soft, you kind of have to find a happy medium. But its wierd that you're BOV is still quiet even with the setting all the way soft...are you sure you are even boosting?

anyway, let me tell you about my experience, i first had the greddy bov only venting on the hot pipe, no bpv. see first pic, it ran ok and the bov was pretty loud and nice, but the main problem was that i would stall when i dropped it to neutral from a high rpm. I later learned about the dual bpv/bov setup and it made a world of difference. look that up first! pic2...

Now i am running both: the bov on the cold pipe and bpv recirculating from the hotpipe back into the intake...car runs waay better and i still get the greddy loud whistle when i boost!

No dude, I'm not stalling or anything, and I'm boosting about 9 or 10 pounds. Weird huh, i should be hearing the valve nice n loud. I'll post pics when i get a chance.
