i don't think it's a good idea to deliberately cause a big traffic jam on the major hiways during rushhour as a form of protest, especially in the winter. major inconvenience to a lot of innocent people. just make streetracers look irresponsible. i hope NOS don't get banned from the street, but i don't want to see any police/firefighters die in some fireball either. i read in a car mag that BFGoodrich sponsored free wednesday nite racing at a drag strip near montreal last summer. too bad major sponsors don't help find a solution for the GTA. it's in their own interest.
