Bad maf symptoms

im just wondering what will i see a/f wise if i have a bad maf?


I ask bc im putting in my wideband tommorow and wanted to ask ahead of time

How do you know the MAF is bad?

I don't know for sure but I've been having bad mpg and little or no power in boost. The car idles fine and will build and hold 8 psi in pretty much every gear (haven't tried 1st) but as soon as I hit any pressure pressure at all the car hits a wall and will not pick up speed really at all until about 4200 when the car switches to open loop.

I'm stumped and all I can think of is a bad maf, or a bad primary 02. But I'm not sure.

What would you recommend checking?

And I havent completely confirmed this yet bc my scan tool doesn't show whether the comp is in open or closed loop, but it seems like the issues don't occur until the car gets up to operating temp
