1 1sty Member Contributor : 2006 Toyota Tundra DC Oct 23, 2002 #3 I'd assume a protege dx, and a newer one at that? A 6 1/2 can indeed fit but it takes a little modification. You'll need a 1/2 spacer ring. Also you need to trim the ring on the back of the door panel. Any good stereo shop should be able to manage the task for around $60.
