5zigen or hks muffler?

people just seem to answer more here, so mods, move it if you wish.

i was planning on getting the hks hi-power muffler cause it was cheaper, but now, www.wholesalehyperformance.com has 5zigen stuff on sale and they're about the same price now. so which to get? opinions please

jonny, how far does it stick out? do you have a pic? cause i was gonna angle it jdm style. which is one reason why i'm kinda leaning towards the 5zigen....short canister and short tip. though i really like the hks sound....i've only read reviews of the 5zigen, but i like it for some reason.

i was considering magnaflow for awhile....it's cheap and it gives a nice deep smooth sound. but it's too loud for me. the hks is the quieter of the two but the 5zigen isn't that much louder than the hks.

I'm going to have my HKS Carbon-Ti angled out like in my avatar. Whoever is fabricating the rest of your exhaust should be able to angle it however you want.

Unless you got a round center hanger for the carbon ti its really hard to angle out. If you put the bend down and then back up for the JDM look, you get some serious rubbing issues.

hey exa4driver, is your muffler angled out? it looks like it. you got more pics of your exhaust? i'd like to see the bend over the axle. i'm assuming that you have the axleback from hks. btw, how's the sound level?
