Here's the quote I got from Tweeter on my full system installed. Let me know what you think of the quoted prices.

I would change the Capacitor to Monster Digi-Cap. If you are gonna throw down that much might as well go with the best. The Monster Digi-Cap has an LED read out.

Looks like they gave you a nice deal on the Pros, alumapro, monster cable wiring, and the JL sub. Everything else looks pretty much by the book as far as labor and pricing goes.

The alumapro has 5 farads of capacitance not just a 1 farad cap with a neat looking LED display.

There is a rather praising review of it on www.carsound.com

Cool, so it has your blessing? I'll schedule the install for next week. 1stMP3...I sent you an email- let me know if you got it.

Btw, thanks again for all your help man. Greatly appreciated. I'll be calling ahead today so they have time to special order my Alumapro cap, etc. Probably have it done sometime next week.
Do I have to give them a day or two to build the box?

Yeah thats what I figured, ya know to give the glue and everything time to set- however when I called they said they'd build it the same day. Hmmm, is this bad. *damn, I must sound like an obsessed s.o.b, lol, I dunno I'm about to dump 3k I just don't want any screw-ups...and judging by the whole blunder with the audio kit.......ugh*

hey at best buy, they have an "1000watt" Kenwood amp for 299
you guys think its for real or the amp blows or something like that? becasue all i want is oen huge amp and a solo baric L7

Its the Kenwood KAC-929. Use it with a 4 ohm total load. Also It does no were near 1000 watts rms or even peak!

Heres the review.
http://www.carsound.com/reviews/amps/KAC-929.html

It does about 500 watts rms but it is sensitive to voltage drops so in a car where the voltage plumits to 12 volts once the bass hits your not going to see all 500 watts. Damping factor is 62which isn't very good for subwoofers.

Will do, although none of it is flashy. The only visible part would be the headunit and simple 1.25 cu ft box in trunk. The amps will be mounted under the seats, as so with the 5 farad cap. Hence no flashy amp racks or fiberglass work. Sorry to dissapoint ya....buuuut, it'll sound great! lol

Sometimes just basic pics of an install do much more good since they give people ideas about how to do simple things like run wires or where to go through the fire wall.
