03.5 or 03?

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the new vents where the fog lights used to be are now cooling ducts for the front brakes. That might be something good to have, a little more useful than foggies. As far as 2003 vs 2003.5, I havent decided either, I must decide by Saturday, help me too!

also, the evo has much different style spoiler, and i think the 2003.5 one looks better.. but i do love the one on my MSP.

I cannot be positive since I don't have a 2k3.5, but I do not think that is the case. You're right though - if they were cooling ducts for the brakes you'd be better with that than with fogs. All the fogs are are a drain on the alternator - which is weak as hell the way it is. It's about as over-rated as a sunroof, which does nothing but let the hot sun in on your cocunut.

Why so defensive about the Evo resemblance??? I mean... the Evo is a kick ass car in every possible way. Your reaction is equivalent to me beating the hell out of someone for saying I look like Brad Pitt!! All kidding aside, I didn't mean any offense. If I knew how to do this fancy stuff on here like you guys, I'd post these two pictures I have in front of me of a silver Evo and Titanium Speed. I'm telling you... maybe it's just the color but... there's definitely a resemblance. The high spoiler... (I don't care what you say, your spoiler is high dude! maybe not as high as the Evo... for good reason... but still pretty high! -not that that's a bad thing!!) but it does increase the resemblance a bit... as well as the front end... if you notice, the Evo doesn't have fogs either... it has those inlets just like yours. Obviously they don't look EXACTLY alike... but they ARE 4 door pocket rockets... ok, maybe the Evo's more like a Pocket atom bomb... but nonetheless, there are enough similarities not to warrant the type of response you gave. Either way man... phat car! Props on getting a Titanium... I heard they're hard to come by. As much as I love my orange... it just won't look right in the winter time. (orange cars = hot weather and even hotter women) just as well... I could never take this thing out in the snow anyway!! the thought of it getting dirty... ugh!!

anyhow, vents are useless. If they cool anything, it's just coincidence.

Finally......

After seeing both the EVO and the STi on the road; I have changed my opinions for the most part. I still think the front end of the EVO was designed by Pontiac (I hate Pontiacs (chair)); but the wing isn't as bad in person. I feel the STi is better balanced in the looks department.

I still think both rear wings are too big, and that overall; the MAZDASPEED presents itself as a more attractive street car. And; this goes for both the 2003 & 2003.5.

But again; That's just my opinion.
