IT WAS FRIGGIN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I had greatest time ever! This year they actually put manual trans. cars into the time competition!!! 2006 miata rawks! OMG such a different feeling from driving fwd car daily. I actually was an hourly winner in a MATCHED TIME competition. Thanks to Sean sitting next to me and counting seconds on my watch, LOL! Sean with your help I made it to 19.010 which was the closest to 29.000 within that hour. Hah it was funny how we all were standing there in hopes that those 10 people wouldnt come closer to 29.000 than me. And yea those are pretty stewpid rules about the points.....I would like MY 2ND HAT NOW! (rofl)

God, I want a Miata. Please, please, please let me wake up to a '06 Miata tomorrow. That car was great! I had a blast chucking it around...wish I had time for more than one run though, I think I could have dropped my time a bit.

dude....SO MUCH FUN!! who wants to drive to Baltimore next weekend?!?! I still think it was total BS how i got kicked off the matched time course for goign too fast. SCREW THE OFFICIALS!!!
OK seriously, today was so much fun. Especially that miata. I wanted one more crack at it. I think I can break into the 31's if I dont finish the lap sideways. When do we get to check our pictures online?

hey now, theres a lot to be said for finishing the lap sideways

the lines did suck, but thats why we had a minimum of 4 guys once we got Dennis. More people you have, the more chances you have to make asses of yourselves and help the time go by faster. I know we kept on asking the announcer if we could take the miatas on the drag course or the top fuelers on the performance challenge course.
Sideways though the finishlines - that was pretty 
- fun to watch the spinouts and cone eaters. If I wasn't with friends - the day woulda sucked. But, the weather was gorgeous, the cars were gorgeous, and the friends were cool. It was even fun riding shotgun.
We tried the stopwatch thing - but closest we got was 30.2 - lame! (but it was still amusing to see some people just kick it and get sub 26 times.) Someone really threw the mazda5 around - it was fun to watch -
Only prob - made me want to autocross all day - wish the lines weren't so freakishly long - otherwise I probably would have just stayed at the performance challenge tent all day.

Should've gotten there at 8am, the guy was saying that in the first hour there were like 20 people and they just kept driving the miatas over and over again. I was there until close, so we jumped back on the manual line and got another run - some dudes were on the course drifting and spinning out every corner of the course, yay

I don't think we did too bad. He ran a 31.6 to my 31.9 (I bogged into second too!). We only got one run, never saw the course, and my first time in a RWD car was Justin's @ Dave & Busters!
man this is horse s***!!! How do they estimate the best time on zoomzoomlive.com? I know I got 31.04 on the Challenge course and they have me....best time as 32.263. WTF is that!?!!?!?!?!?? Thats horse s***! Im gonna complain and tell them to gimme that pearl white Miata as a remedy to this problem (poke)
