TurfBurn said:Which plugs were you running? I hope not the stock Mazdaspeed plugs... those things are HORRIBLE for these cars.
BlkZoomZoom said:Why though? Intake temperatures too high? Fuel mapping not right? Not enough timing retarded? Bad fuel? Idiot driver (given)?
You saw the map I loaded right? The thing would go down to 11.2 a/f and slowly creep back up to like 12:1 (through the stock o2 sensor). I kept adding fuel until it chugged then backed some off.
I need to know why this happened or I'm gonna drive myself crazy. If it was my fault, it doesn't bother me as I have done/and will do worse things. Not knowing kills me.
TurfBurn said:Yeah that one definitely shows signs of it.. but like I said I'm surprised how the other DON'T seem to show any signs of it... that's what weirds me out.. why they are cracked as well and show no pitting or heat marks.
atticus1398 said:the theory of the extra injectors continuing to spray after the stock injectors hit rev limit would create a lean condition, correct?
SenorCorwin said:yea but even if that was the case signs of det would be on all pistions correct?
]igdrasil said:Others are showing detonation on the very begining of it. That piston has sustained more detonation than the others. That could be caused by difference in injection or boost per cylinder. Individual cylinder management will cure that....electromotive TecIII
Brian MP5T said:Yes, the engine would normally cut fuel and you would stop going faster, here, when the fuel cuts, the EI Still runs the car but way lean.
TurfBurn said:Can the video of the dyno be posted??
SLA said:Well, I just joined the x2 club. Yesterday on my way home from going out to eat I blew my 2nd motor. So now I get to listen to everybody (stooges) tell me I should get rid of this turbo kit again. But I won't (laugh)
