Your personal opinions on a black ES; Clear Corners vs Black housing

Hey guys, I'm debating on which style of headlight housing I should go for.

Which do you think look better on a 2002 Black ES? The clear white lenses like the P5 housing (or the custom home made DIY stuff) or the Black Housings (which are clear also but... with a black hue!)??

Yeah I think they do too. Saw it on some P5s and some Lazer Blue Mp3's, but none on a black protege. I was playing GT4 and looked at the Familia in a black color and it had clear lenses and that looked sexy as hell too.

It's not the sedan, but I have an '02 P5 that's midnight blue (see pic) which is as close to black as you can get... I swapped headlights with someone who had an 03 laser blue P5. He wanted the chrome housing, I wanted the black.

If you're at the next meet, you can have a look at my car and see what you think. It would look very similar on yours.

i like the clear on my car cuz it blends with the stupid chrome bar on the grill...but for black car, i think the darker the better

I loved my blacked out lights they look so great. Theres an example in my sig, not the right color but it can give you an idea what it might look like.

Here's what black headlight housing looks like on a 2003. I think the 2002 are the same style lights.

I actually just got a new grill that eliminates the chrome piece all together, so now maybe i can follow my own advice and go dark...

Black housing, or you can get some rock blocker headlight protection thats smoked, that would look sweet too.

Yeah, me too. Ive been without my chrome grille for quite some time now, but I still have my stockers on (both headlamps and corners). I need to find me place that sells the black housing lamps as a set. I would hate to paint the headlamps one shade of black and have the corners totally be a different shade.

Yeah, I saw that. I was trying to find it a bit cheaper than what they advertise it for. I was looking on Ebay, but haven't been able to find the combo set.
