In my sig (drive2)

if thats the road i'm thinking of then, the first time i drove it was when my dad took me for my "first" mountain run, little did he knwo i've ran GMR a few times previously.

but angeles crest is crazy, very narrow and lots of bicyclists. but somewhat short (compared to GMR)

I wanted to move there, but my car is illegal there:( And theres no way in hell im using a front tag. FL FTW!
I haven't had a front plate installed for something like 50 car-years and I have gotten one ticket for it. The ticket was $10 so that's $.20 per car-year. Cheap at twice the price.

From what I hear, Hurricane Mountain Rd isn't so much as twisty turny as it's super steep.

211 through thorton gap in Va. Almost died there. For real.

Aye. 211 near Luray and again right after Skyline Drive is the tits for "enthusiastic" driving. Skyline Drive just south of 211 for about 10-15 miles is nice for a leisurely cruise.

My area has some pretty cool two-lane roads. There is a pair of double-ess curves not a mile away from home that are fun. On the other side of the county there's a road with several off-camber, tight radius curves. You can take 'em in your lane an' they're pretty twisty, or you can cut the apex on 'em, which is fun, too. Several of the interstate exit ramps are decreasing radius sweepers.
