Yet another engine mount failure

This is scary...makes me want to trade my car in for 2009 wrx but a big financial hit will suck.

I thought about this too, but the hit would be huge. I test drove the 09 WRX and it was great, but Subaru wanted to give me $17k for my 08.5 MS3 GT with 8k miles. Yeah right. If you're worried like I am, you might think about changing out the driver side/tranny mount with one from PTP or Medieval.

New deal. Trading in the MS3 for a brand new 09 Mx-5. S-plan pricing (dealer cost) - $whatever rebates I can get + my trade in value.

eh eh? Which deal sounds better?

if the miata fits your needs...i'd say go for it...the speed 3 will still pwnt it in straight line acceleration...but straight line isn't everything, right (yippy)

s***, i already have an aftermarket downpipe w/cat... really no need for another lol. any way i could just get the catback?

It is a downpipe back, meaning it attaches to the downpipe. Just like a catback exhaust attaches to the catalytic converter.

I already have an aftermarket cat, is it one piece, or is the cat separate? if it is one piece then im sry for wasting your time but i am not interested simply because i do not want to pay money for something i already have/dont need, unless i could attach it to my downpipe which i believe has the cat attached although i am not certain (sry relatively new at this) and you wouldnt charge for the cat. If it isnt one piece then if you would be willing to separate the cat, I would buy the rest. Once again, im fairly new at this so i could be mistaken as to how all this is pieced together, but let me know. thanks
