I got a call from Mazda US today.
They are offering me:

Sounds like they are admitting there is a problem. they said to think about it over the holidays and they'll call me back next year.
I asked them if they are doing anything about the mount because the recall obviously does not fix the problem. they could not give me an answer.
They are offering me:
- Two months car payments
- $500 'gift card'
- 5 year 100k mile warrenty upgrade free

lol.. welcome to 6 months ago. I parted the car out back in march.
all thats left is the camber kit and the vibrant DP back exhaust.. and a few gauges.
that 5 year 100k warranty woulda been good if you were keeping the car.
dude you should keep the car....use the gift card buy better mounts and be done with it.....every car has it's problems....my yellow p5 has a bad paint job....oh well i'll deal with it....but it could be worse....look how many fords have head gasket issues that blow(on mulitple engines) and i think my dad has found every car that had that too
... how am I supposed to use a Mazda gift card on aftermarket parts?

oh wait....so the gift card is an exclusive 'mazda' gift card and not like a amex gift card or something....well that kinda blows....but hey service is taken care of for awhile....
but 2 car payments and a 5yr warrentee...that doens't turn you on???
