Yellow MSP - Asking For Tickets?

Dude, this is such crap. I used to mob a black mitsu mirage, (girls) and i would pull 60's in 35's and NEVER got a ticket. Ive had my msp for barley 2 months now, and 3 tickets, all were at least 7 miles over how fast i say i was going. Can that be right?

Anyway, seriously this is ridicules. I was on a highway last night about 9pm. This 80s style sports car" pulls past me, i dont even bother. About 3 miles down the road i notice him in front of me in another lane, i have a gap so i hit it, i get up to a AMAZING!!! 72MPH!!!! yes 72!!! (i thought the paint would start sliding off the car).

20 seconds later im on the side of the road with a bright ass light in my face, again!. he said 78 in a 55. (should be a 65) This blazer in front of me was at least 5mph faster than me and i get a ticket. This is making me want to trade in for somethin less attractive to dick head cops. ($250 btw)

Bah!!!!


P.S. I just sent out my payment for my last ticket last night as well.

As much as it sucks, more and more cops are singling out imports. Movies like Fast and the Furious don't help. Also, all the ricers trying to street race on sopping wet roads and parking lots gives the whole community a bad rap. No matter how good/law abiding a driver you are, it usually boils down to being in the right place at the wrong time.

The thing is, on my first ticket, well i was having fun, and i deserve that ticket....but these last 2, no way. By the book sure but i got singled out so bad.

Is a lawyer really expensive? Should I just look in the phone book for a traffic lawyer?

Next "ricer" i see is gettin bitched at by my girl/friend who didnt like the lite in her face

Having an EMS sticker and visible strobe warning lights helped a bit The same thing happened about a year ago in my last car..91 in a 65, just got a verbal warning to 'pay attention to my speedometer.'

and radar dectectors are a joke sometimes, my same buddy still gets pulled over and ticketed for dumb s***.....cop told him once that he knew he was doin over 100 but since my buddy had the dectector on he slowed down to 70 in time.......so the cop just pulled out a book and started siting modification violations and s***........same analogy of "gotta pay to play"

If you're driving right next to a Spicy or Yellow MSP (or some other brightly colored sports car) this might be true, but I can guarantee you that Titanium is no less noticeable on it's own. I won't go into any further details, but apparently the kit, wheels, & big wing are what cops really notice. :mad: Keep in mind, the cop is also going to see MazdaSPEED on your car when he pulls you over...unless you take it off.

This is SO true. Despite my personal experiences, I'm still glad I got Titanium because standing out isn't always the best thing.


As for radar detectors, there are only 2 things you need to know...Escort 8500 is the best & you need to get one. (thumb) However, the real lesson here is that you need to slow down & tickets are just a hard way of learning that...I know I have.

Man You got lucky. I was cruisin around with my Blue MSP and my buddy was in his Silver SRT-4 and we pulled up to a light together both gave each other the stare down and went when the light turned green. Nothing outragious but just having fun. We got up to 55mph in a 45mph zone and all of a sudden Flashers all over my ass. We both got pulled over and GOT DRAG RACING TICKETS!!!!!!!! COP was a ****** dick head and a half. thats gonna be a pretty penny in court.

You need PrePaid Legal!
17 a month, and they'll represent you in Court for traffic violations, plus a whole lot of other cool stuff.
I sell and am a member, and theyve gotten me out a ticket, my brother 3 tickets(red eclipse convertible), and other friends other tickets. If they dont get it dismissed, its usually reduced.

As much as i like the orange and yellow, i got black because its low key.

I've been pulled over 2 times in 2 months, got a ticket for 62 in a 50 and a fixit ticket for my window tint. The CHP that got me for window tint pulled a 180 on a 4 lane highway and chased me down....for tinted windows!!! Unbeleivable.
