Would these rims look good on my red 2007 hatch?

Black or gold?

There XXR 521 and I dont know if I should get 17's or 18's and maybe 8.5?

Thanks for any imputs.

Go gold 17x9 if they have them. Just don't tell them it's for a 3. Don't know why, but some places won't sell them in that size to you if you have a certain car. I guess they think that the 3's can't fit it.

I would do a bronze if they have it.

Except his are legit, not knockoff

Don't do Knockoffs. 95% of the time the quality of the rims just doesn't make it worth it. A year after you've had them the paint chips or you bend a rim because the alloy is too soft.

vrwheels . com

buy a nice used set that is quality
that being said, XXR probably isn't "cheap" knockoffs--some quality may be there....however, they are just an imitation of a style. Do you really want people asking, "Are those Work VS-XX (or whatever they are called)?" and your response being, "no...just cheap knockoffs..."

hope this makes sense and helps. do what makes you happy and don't listen to anyone else!

edit: do 17 inchers....provides more room for drop and such and are big enough to look good (plus lighter, etc...)

Fuuuuuuck I came when I saw that speed 3, I will do ANYTHING for work vs xx. LITERALLY ANYTHING. haha. But the only thing i dont like about the xxr rims is the unilug bulls***. But im trying to find some relitivly cheap mesh type rims. Any help?

Like I said, VR wheels (dot) com should have some sets at relatively affordable prices ($1000-1500). If you can't fork over that kind of cash and are set on knockoffs, check out XXR (as noted), Drag, Linea Corse--but be warned you lose baller status! LOL

I was thinking about picking up a set of those same wheels in black and 18x8.5 +40. XXR wheels are a decent wheel brand with a decent rep. Paying a ton of cash for real wheels is nice if you like to brag about your wheel brand but if you are just going for looks then by all means go with knockoffs. I would probably remove the fake rivets and paint the wheels a different color though. Maybe white or bronze when the black gets old. After looking at some pics of them on google it looks like the rivets are too close together for my taste but they're removable/replaceable with different colors so I'd probably just leave them out.

I need to stop looking at wheels. I have a nice set of 17's on the car right now and I have a set of 19x8.5 enkei rp03's that are awaiting test fitment and fresh tires.

I hate my stockys. I really like mesh type wheels and can care less if they are real or not, i just want something with a nice lip

I would do the 17" gold... they just have a different look than the black (which are nice to but different effect)

NO,no,no... the choices are gold or black! Stay on point here son. Just kidding, I think the silver would look great too. I have been on a few sites that show the wheels on "your" car, I try colored wheels and always come back to silver. I think hyper silver would look good with red. It is like a charcoal right?

Polished lips make wheels look small. Go with a solid color.

its a polished lip, on a silver wheel. thats not too much of a difference in color so I think it'll look good,
if i had a 3 i would do 18's...17's look too small unless your lowered significally
