Enthuza 2.75" resonated test pipe and 3" Turbo Racer cat back exhaust arrived today.

Thats the last of the turbo parts, once I get my fix it ticket taken care of, install will go down.
 
-1 for cali law. However, didn't you say that your turbo kit was carb legal?
either way, the other things you mentioned will make it really bad either way so I agree on waiting. good luck.
 
Outside of the bov, test pipe and standalone, yes its carb legal. I'd rather wait and install it all, rather then only partial install in fear of getting more trouble.
 
Nice, so the enthuza tbe is basically a magnaflow. I've got a magnaflow catback on my 4liter ranger, its quiet as s***, but sounds great at wot throttle.

Honestly I'm kind of scared it will be too quiet for my tastes, but the miata is loud as s*** without a cat, so I'm hoping it will balance out lol
 
Naah, i'm sure it will sound good. BP 1.6, nice turbo, tbe will be tight and if its catless then you'll definitely hear it. My ranger still has 2 oem cats so its quiet...haha.

It's going to be quiet with that setup... but it's gonna sound pretty damn good. A local guy has a similar setup on his car. Mine deafens him.
 
Therefore, I'd rather not be boosted in front of the officer, as I'm scared I might get in trouble for my front visor and/or height already so I don't want to make it worse on myself.

you can get in trouble for the height?
 
Yep. 23 inches from ground to headlight I think was the legal limit. Last time I checked at least.
 
Just swapped out my glass for untinted glass, gonna go tomorrow after work and hopefully get it written off.
 
He is not boosted yet. He is waiting till after he goes to the ref to get his other things written off before he installs the turbo.
 
Yeah first it was the ticket, but now I need to swap out my clutch before turbo so I can actually use the power. Gear fluid ****** up my current and slips now, gonna go with a FM1 this time around.
