Flyin Miata Dual Feed Fuel Rail just purchased lol

I guess they fixed their problem and have fuel rails back in stock.. sucks for my wallet but cool beans for the miata 8)

and the b**** is out! Not a wonder why my clutch squeaked so much, slipped so bad, and gave me so much backlash.. look for yourself

mmm, beautiful burns.

Glazed and smooth as glass on all pucks.

Goodbye Spec, thanks for the most awful driving experience ever.

Got the Flyin Miata clutch in yesterday with little to no trouble, which was nice for a change. Tried to get the fly resurfaced but found out lightweights can't be resurfaced and need new face plates, but my step was bearly off so I threw it back in as it was. Once we finished, we actually couldn't get the car in gear but the clutch pedal just needing adjusting, the engagement point was a quarter inch(if that much) off the floor so the clutch wasn't getting pushed in enough to allow free shifting. Messed with it and boom, problem solved.

Initial feelings about the FM clutch; OMG I LOVE THIS. haha.. I know a lot of it has to do with the fact that I've been driving on that bad slipping clutch, but it really feels like my clutch, rated at taking 318ft/tq, is a OE clutch. The pressure needed is very minimal and the yank is that of a OEM clutch, but I have the strength to keep everything in line with turbo so I couldn't be happier. Had I known how much better this install was going to go, I would of done it so much sooner.. but I was really dreading the thought of another hell clutch install.

It is so nice to have normal take offs, no ugly squeaking noises, smooth and seamless up/down s****, and no sputtering action when the AC kicks on at low speeds lol

Now I can finally start installing some pre-turbo parts such as the MSPNP and injectors to get ready for the big day. I'm gonna be driving like crazy now trying to gather up the 1,000miles to break in the clutch because once its good, turbo install goes down 8)

Lol that would have sucked so badly if we had to drop it again and start all over.
I can't wait for this ish to be installed (hmu when you are going to do it)..convince me to turbo Greg.

Flyin Miata fuel rail showed up today, so pretty :)

Mocked up with the injectors, so colorful! I wanna install it like right now lol.

Next step, install MSPNP.. might do it this weekend, iono yet..

MSPNP installed!

..sorta

Its in, and the car drives perfectly fine, but my laptop AFRs are not matching my Uego AFRs, and considering the only o2 sensor in the car IS the Uego, I'm not sure why they're not identical.. Also, if I flip my headlights on real fast, I get like a fuel cut or something cuz the car will kind of choke itself for a second and be fine, but it'll usually give me a funky idle and hesitation with the throttle afterwards. If I don't touch the lights at all, the car idles smooth and no hesitation, so I don't know.. I'm sort of in over my head with the computer side of the MSPNP, it hurts my head trying to figure out how to properly adjust s*** lol

Its perfectly driveable how it is, it just needs some tweaks so either a friend of mine might be able to work it out, or I'll just let it be until I get tuned and have the tuner fix it. Next sunday I will be installing the injectors, fuel rail, test pipe and spark plugs. Then the weekend after that on the 15th, I will be installing turbo, then the weekend after that on the 22nd, I hope to go and get it tuned and be done with it lol

My car does the same thing with putting an electrical load on it quickly. There's probably a setting in the ECU for an rpm ramp upon voltage demand... for lack of the proper term. I can look it up in my software and give you an idea of something to look for.

They make one that runs on unicorn power with rainbows and sparkles...

Check your WB O2 calibration in Megatune/Tuner Studio, different controllers are calibrated differently so that might explain the discrepancy.

Hahaha. I'm sure someone has one, but in all honesty the alternator is rather sufficient for what it actually has to drive in the car. Bogging down and stuff like that is usually just from the ECU not ramping up the RPM a hair when the demand is put on it.
