You guys with the 3.5 Ets intercoolers... when they were installed did you have any problems with them being too big or hitting anything? I'm deciding between the SU TMIC and the ETS 3.5. what are your thoughts?

I havent had any issues at all, got lucky i guess, some people complained about it rubbing or banging against firewall and the remedy for that was to just upgrade the motor mount. Even when i had the stock motor mount this still wasnt an issue........For the most part its a great intercooler, no complaints, would of loved to have fmic but for the price and for my goals this was the best option for me.

I have an ETS 3.25, with 0 issues, no banging as some have reported, and most importantly no CELs. PM me if interested. Will include SU boost tubes.

Is there a difference in HP gains between 3.25 and 3.5? Also does anyone know the core size of the SU TMIC?

There probably really isn't any HP gain between sizes. The thicker one probably doesn't heatsoak as much as the thinner on. As for the SU TMIC, it looks like it's 3.25 but that's what I think.
There is no difference in hp, the 3.25 is sufficient enough, i just went with 3.5 cuz i got a good deal for it.....i believe the su tmic is 3.25.....there really isnt much of a difference in performance with the ets or the su tmic, they are both good.....get the boost tubes while your at it a lot better than the stock tubes, holds boost a lot better.

ok $575 for both ETS TMIC and SU Boost tubes, +shipping (to be determined once you give me your zip code). or $525 for just the ETS TMIC, + shipping. I'll post pics with of the ETS installed and the boost tubes tomorrow. But PM me if you are interested and give me your zip code...to the fellas that's already PMed me, check your message box.
Condition of the TMIC is good, a few bent fins, but nothing to deter it's cooling ability. PICS to follow tomorrow when I get a chance to take pics (installed only).
Condition of boost tubes excellent, you can't really damage the silicone, maybe dirty on the outside, but nothing that can't be buffed out =D.
BTW, it's Natural finish.
