Also, I cant believe those lips are not molded, they sure look molded in those pics...incredible work.(rockon)

Well, nothing too hot going on in the interior at this point. Pretty well stock MSP except for the seats and Defi gauges (not hooked up yet, how rice. lol.) But, I'll be getting the rear seats covered to match the Sparcos this fall along with some other Sparco stuff. So, there will definitely be picks of that to come.

As for the engine bay, there's plenty going on under there, but right now it's a mess. Call it the R&D phase. But, just like everything else it's a work in progress. So, expect to see the finished product in the near future.

All of the credit for the body work goes to my friend Rob (vapors). He has been a huge part of getting the car to where it is now. The rear bumper/lip, front bumper/lip, and grill were all just repainted. Might not have noticed, he matched that well. It's nice to have someone you can trust to take the time to get things right.

Where did the wing go?

It didn't go anywhere. Still on the stock trunk. I have nothing against the MP3/03 MSP spoiler. But, I like the wingless look equally, if not a little more than, as well.

Aside from that I think most wings look out of place on CF trunk lids. The only ones that fit (high rise CF type) have no place on a street car IMHO.

The only kind of spoiler I would consider with the way the car looks now would be a small lip type. Like you see on Bimmers. It would also have to be CF and only as wide as the trunk lid. Since that's a pretty tall order, I'd guess I'll be staying spoiler-less.

Trade your back seat for someone with regular Protege back seats cause you're going to cover them anyway. I am sure there's someone who would love the stock MSP seats.

The wing on the MP3/MSP is actually a wind tunnel tested and functional wing....But yeah...some people dont like wings.

i haven't noticed a difference w/o mine. i'd like to see some cfd data on it.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone. Keeps me motivated to get her 100% finished up. (Yeah, like I'll ever feel like any car I own is 100% done. lol.)

ChiMSP - Yeah there's definitely been some changes. I wasn't really feeling the way things were headed the last time I posted. So, I took a little time off from modding and then started over. Cost me a little bit by trading/selling off stuff I already had. But, I am completely happy with the results.

pluto - I actually already sold the front MSP seats to a friend and we were going to swap back seats when I was ready to recover mine. But, I think he's run into tight financial times so I don't even know if he's going to stick with the MSP seats. Hopefully if he sells them off the buyer will want to swap out rear seats still. Like you're saying no reason to waste a MSP seat someone might want.

Titanium-99 - Yeah that's the stock lower grill. They look a lot different with the IC behind them.

carmaniac - I almost did. But, I decided if you're gonna blow that much cash on wheels why not go all out.

daedalus - Yeah, actually they are the P5 headlights from Canada (some Japanese Sport 20's had them as well.) Same assembly as the P5, just with kind of a flat black/dark gray finish. I always loved the look of the P5 headlights, so much more aggressive looking than the sedans. Originally I was just going to swap headlights with a P5 but the deals kept falling through. So, I called around to a bunch of dealerships in Canada and the US and ended up finding two seperate dealers who had recieved the one of the Canadian headlights (each) by mistake. Saved me the customs fee. Other nice thing about them is that I never really liked the 03.5 MSP lip when they came out but when guys started putting them on their P5s I loved them. Took me a while to realize it was the different headlights that did it for me. Thus the reason I decided to go with the MSP lip over the DG I had.
