With Regard To Cp-e Cai Hydrolocking!!

OK so my area is getting hit pretty hard with snow and moisture.

I have been puddle diving and I even jammed it into a big (snow pile/standing water) at a very wide open throttle, giving chase to my girlfriend's GTI, and NOTHING happened. I don't mean to invite harm to the car but inadvertently my girlfriend also jammed it into a puddle and still nothing!!

I am writing for those of you hesitant to jump, the fact is, this is a very good unit nicely enclosed with the right kind of filter, expertly made.

ok..your chances of hydrolock is very slim unless you actually wade through water that covers the whole filter. Slow, constant submersion of the filter, and direct injection of water into the intake (like large amount of water spray)

Actually a small spray of water in the intake might make the car run better. (water injection) Complete submersion of the CAI will make the engine go BOOM!.
