To save money has anyone noticed ANOTHER thing they skipped out on was thw WIPER FLUID SCREEN. I noticed today OR is it just me? Do you guys have a screen?

Yesterday, was the first time I needed to use the wiper fluid. Surprise, surprise, there was no fluid. At first, I thought it was frozen, but NO!

There was no fluid at all.

This was surprising to me as the car was delivered with a full tank of gas!

Some of my previous, non-mazda vehicles have had that screen, but to tell you to truth it made it splash more and would get in the way. I am not worried about it not being there. You just need to make sure you are putting clean water for wiper fluid in. Obviously if you just scoop up crappy water from a ditch and poor it in it will clog your spray nozzles. Just use clean distilled bottled water to dilute a mixture of vinegar based windex and you should be fine.

Yeah, I mean I understand the screen on the power steering and the brake fluid, but there isnt even one on the coolant if I remeber right.

Have any other Sport owners been bitten by the lack of a Low Washer Fluid Light yet? When I bought the car, I skimmed the manual and noticed it there, but I apparently didn't notice the asterisk and note "Some models only". I guess that means not Sport. Oops.

Mazda simply must recognize that we Sport owners are a clever and resourceful lot that need not be coddled by extra lights.

But all joking aside, the asteriks are all over the place in the manual and it can be a little frustrating. We just need to pay attention and remember what we actually bought.
