Wings West Hood

Just wanted to let everyone know that on NOPI's website there is a carbon fiber hood with slots. It says it's a Wing West hood. But I went to WW website and couldn't find anything on it. Just wanted to let everyone know. I really can't decide if I like it or not. I think painted the same color as the car it would look good. Just not in carbon fiber.

The hood

i found it the other day as well. I am going to call my wing west Rep on monday to find out mor about it,price,if it is vented or if the screen is just there for looks, when it is avalible if its not yet.

Mitch at Protege5 online has it on his things to come list. He may have some info on this for you guys. I don't know whether I like it or not either. I will have to let it grow on me. I think maybe paint would not be such a bad idea for that hood.

Wait a minaute that hood maybe the style or just example. But that looks like a civic hood. Look at the area of the headlight cut outs. Maybe it will look better if it belongs on a Protege. Need a picture of hood for our car.

if you print out thr page than you will see that hood is for a prelude (i think) i printed it out the other day. in any event you are right that hood is not a picure of the hood for are car.

the hood

i called my WW rep today i got the low down on the hood. the first release on it is going to be the first of the year. it will not be for our car. the release for aur car wont be untill like a year and a half from now, they are going to make it for the civic and integra and Ect... first. it is vented, and it will be in the 700-800 dollar range. that is what i know.

Thanks for talking to your rep Mass. So what you're are saying is that Nopi is full of s*** and actually doesn't have this hood for our cars. Good ol' Nopi. God I ******* hate them.

i talked to the guy from protege5online and he confirmed that the hoods are being made as we speak, and that he expects shipment in about a month. At any rate I wont be able to order one until the dust settles from the holidays and it would be nice to have my MSP before i buy a hood for it.....................
