I just tinted my dad's TL at 20% (onyx black) all around yesterday, no problems at night, haven't driven it on a rainy night just yet. It really doesn't look very dark from inside, just a minor effect. Looks pretty damn dark from outside though.

I just had 20's installed this week. It looks awesome. Haven't driven at night with them yet but I wouldn't think it'd be a problem.

Gimmie a few minutes and I'll take a picture and upload it somewhere.

20% is as low as I would go. I think 25 is perfect because it looks dark but not im hiding something in here dark.

ive got charcoal grey 20% on my front windows and at night its pretty dark. but i also have midnight black 2.5% on the rear doors and 5% on the rear window so my car is very dark inside no matter what

hey redpr5, did u pollish those rims?
i think i took those pics after i had just washed the car actually.
but i do use Eagle One Nanotech wheel polish about every month. shines the rims up REAL nice and helps keep brake dust and all from stickin to the wheels.
those also arent the "upgraded" alloys that mazda sold, they are the regular base wheels, i like them better, i like the fake chrome lol

I got 35% up front, and 20% around the sides and back of my car. No pics on this computer but I will get around to uploading some at some point. At night and in the rain it has been fine. I don't know how the people with the super dark tints can see though, I wouldn't go lower than 20% myself.

I've got 16% all around and never have issues in the dark/rain...You might have some problems out in the woods or somewhere without any outside light at all.

My front windows are 20%. I don't have any problems if there are street lights or parking lot lights on. But I have to roll my windows down when backing into my carport. I have 5% on the side rears and the back window, so using the rear view mirror at night is out of the question, lol.

You should look up the state window tinting laws. Check and see if your going over the maximum percentage or not. If you are, youll get some tickets here and there. Also most shops wont do a tint that isnt within the legal limits. I found a shop that will do it for me, but its cash only, and no reciept. Thats for deniability.

bucksatan ive got the same setting as you for my windows except i got a 7 inch stripe of 20% on top of my windshield.. (lol)

How do you not get pulled over around here with them that dark?

i dont even know much mine is, its pretty dark, for some reason i never asked...weird

MonkeyBone, I was going to get the stripe but I forgot to ask when I took it in for tinting. At some point I will probably get around to doing the stripe, I've had it in other cars and miss it.
