Window problem

Ok so it hasnt been a good weekend at all for my mp3. My girlfriend drives it (first mistake) cause i dont have my license and its depressing to see it sitting there. Well I fixed the alternator belt the other day cause it snapped off, no biggie. Then she slid on ice the next day and bumped the apartment building (not much damage at all) and then she got to work yesterday and closed the driver side door and the window fell half way down. I got my door panel and everything off and as i was looking at it, it looks like the metal wire that pulls the window up or lets it down is off its track. How do you fix it?

If memory serves me correct there is a clip/shim that holds it into place and on track. Look at that of for that in the door. if all else fails pull off the oposing door and compair.
