Puchased in 12/2007

Currently has a tick over 24K miles.

Hasn't been to the dealer yet, though I did have "the drive-thru smokescreen" happen twice (and it hasn't happened for a long time)...

thats crazy i had the same thing happen to me last week with my coolant res. hose came off and went into the fan and got chopped up

30k miles on my 2008.

Lots of hard street miles, quite a few very hard track hours.
Basic mods.
No failures.

The only work I've done to the car are the mods, brakes (because of track use) oil, and tires. It sees WOT daily, rain or shine (drinks)

63,000 miles. Smoke from exhaust at idle almost the whole time I've owned it. Replaced turbo around 25,000 miles, resolved issue for maybe another 15,000 and then it came back. Dealer instructed to use 5w - 40 oil which did nothing to stop it from burning 1 qt. every 3k. Getting a new turbo again this weekend and I'll see how that goes. Waiting on PCV fix. Also had the rear sway bar bolt fall off at like 20k.

I stopped at mazda yesterday and the guy said they still dont have the fix. They said without oil change paper work I can also go **** myself. I said hey I'll pay for them to drop the pan and see how clean it is and he said it dosnt matter. I said even though mazda knows they have a problem they are just using this as a lame reason to tell me to screw off. He looked at me shook his head and said yep... I looked at him and said hey thanks man thats really really cool of mazda and you guys... Thanks a bunch you ******* d-bags.

Please tell me you are never going back there...

I previously mentioned that the turbo and LF strut were replaced on my 2007 MS3; you can now add the VVT Actuator to the list- it became VERY noisy at @47,000 miles.

Well, I am sorry to say that my 7 week old 2009 MS3 bought with 230 miles on the clock is now has a mid-axle seal leak on the passenger side. I'm not real thrilled.... car has only 1789 miles on it and I don't beat it up at all... completely stock.

People don't b**** when things are going well...you have to remember that.

16k on mine, no issues yet that I didn't personally cause.
